That’s right, I’m a comedy writer and stand-up comedian too!
What began as a little toe-dipping in early 2026 has become something much bigger.

My journey to becoming a stand-up comedian
Hang on, aren’t you a writer?
Indeed I am. I’ve been an author, journalist and features writer for over 15 years.
Two of my books were comedy guides and I’ve written with observational humour for all kinds of publication, from national magazines to private clients.
Let’s face it, I’ve probably tried to cram humour into my writing even when it wasn’t called for (much to the exasperation of my editors).
So I simply decided to elevate my love of comedy and become a performing comedian in Swansea and beyond.
To date, I’ve performed in Swansea, Neath, Llanelli, Bath and Llandeilo, including multiple nights as part of This is a Stand Up‘s excellent events.
What’s your comedy about?
I pride myself on a blend of solid observation and surreal humour, touching on both my life and things we can all laugh about.
Topics like my Italian heritage, vegan life, horses, Bonsai trees, relationship communication and other things that either enthuse or frustrate me.
I’m actually a relatively clean comedian. I wouldn’t exactly say my material is family friendly, but I avoid swearing and blue humour where possible. Not that I have anything against that, but I prefer to explore other topics.
As for the exact content… well, you’ll have to come to one of my shows to see for yourself.

When’s your next show?
In Spring 2026, I’ll be performing in Swansea, Llanelli, Neath, Llandeilo and Bridgend.
